In legends of Atlantis
there are tales of old,
of a Knight of the relm
both brave and bold.
Richard, Sir Snackalot,
was this warrior's name.
As protector of the seas,
he earned honor and fame.
To relieve the inflicted
of their woes and strife,
he took a vow of celibacy
and dedicated his life.
He fought the sea monsters
with no thought for his health
He lived the warriors life
with no property or wealth
then one life altering day,
while out on patrol,
a vision of beauty
enraptured his soul.
It was a maiden so fair
with a heartfelt wish,
to be rescued from her terror
of a monster fish.
On his trusty seahorse,
with lance and shield,
he challenged the great fish
and the fish would not yield.
the battle was brutal
as he fought for his life,
and he knew if he lived,
he'd claim the maiden as wife.
As all battles go,
there's only one winner.
So, Sir Snackalot and his bride
snacked on sushi for dinner.
